    • Nonstop flights from Toronto, Kitchener-Waterloo, London, and Saint John begin in late 2024.
    • Affordable travel options make visiting Orlando’s attractions more accessible for Canadians.

Canadian low-cost carrier Flair Airlines is expanding its winter flight schedule, adding several new direct routes from major Canadian cities to Orlando International Airport in Florida.

Beginning in late 2024, Flair will offer nonstop service between Orlando and Kitchener-Waterloo starting October 29th with up to 3 weekly flights. On December 16th, the airline kicks off up to 12 weekly flights connecting Toronto Pearson to Orlando. This will be followed by a twice-weekly London to Orlando service on December 20th and a once-weekly Saint John to Orlando route on December 22nd.

The new routes will provide Canadians with affordable air travel options to visit Orlando’s world-famous theme parks and attractions during the winter months. Introductory one-way fares start as low as $44 from Toronto, $59 from London, $59 from Saint John, and $94 from Kitchener-Waterloo.

“We are delighted to welcome Flair Airlines to Orlando International Airport,” said Kevin J. Thibault, CEO of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. “This partnership provides travelers with greater, more convenient access to both Orlando and Canada.”

Garth Lund, Chief Commercial Officer of Flair Airlines, highlighted the new routes as part of the ultra low-cost carrier’s mission to make travel more affordable. “For travelers seeking affordable and convenient options to explore Orlando’s world-renowned attractions, Flair offers unbeatable value.”

The expansion allows Flair to tap into robust demand for air travel to the theme park mecca of Orlando from regional markets across Canada. “Value-focused air carriers like Flair are especially appealing for families and visitors on a budget, giving Canadian travellers new options to easily get to the theme park capital of the world,” noted Casandra Matej, President and CEO of Visit Orlando.

In addition to the new Orlando services, Flair is gearing up for a busy summer season with recently launched routes like Vancouver to Guadalajara, Mexico along with discounted domestic flights across Canada. The airline offers a growing network of affordable fares aimed at making travel more accessible.

The Orlando schedule announcement comes as Flair continues its rapid expansion across North America. The upstart carrier has been aggressively undercutting the legacy airlines on many leisure routes, offering basic but inexpensive air travel options.
