Porter Airlines unveiled an expanded Porter Pass program to reflect its growing North American network, offering new options for customizing and simplifying economy air travel. A Porter Pass allows frequent flyers on specific routes or within regions to purchase up to 100 flight credits for one year of travel at a fixed price.
The airline introduced six new and expanded Porter Passes, primarily operating from Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal. The Western Canada <> Triangle Pass covers six destinations across four western provinces: Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Vancouver, Victoria, and Winnipeg. The Florida <> Triangle Pass includes Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Miami, Orlando, and Tampa. The Western U.S. <> Triangle Pass covers Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
The Northeast U.S. <> Triangle Pass encompasses Boston, Chicago, New York-Newark, and Washington D.C. An Everywhere (Canada) Pass allows travel between Porter’s 21 Canadian destinations, while an Everywhere (North America) Pass covers all 33 of the airline’s North American routes. These complement 12 existing passes like the Triangle Commuter and Toronto <> New York City options.
Passengers can upgrade to PorterReserve, the airline’s elevated economy experience. In addition to PorterClassic amenities like complimentary beer, wine, no middle seats, and free WiFi on Embraer E195-E2 flights, PorterReserve includes priority check-in, flexible ticketing, extra legroom seating, premium cocktails, and fresh meals on longer routes.
“Porter is now an airline stretching coast-to-coast across North America, with more passengers than ever choosing our elevated economy experience,” said Edmond Eldebs, Porter’s Chief Commercial Officer. “Our improved Porter Pass program gives frequent travellers great value, locking in a special fare for 12 months and customizing their experience.”
The airline updated its online booking portal, simplifying Pass purchases and credit redemptions. Passengers can buy Passes in installments through financing partner Uplift, choosing 10, 20, 50, or 100 credits at a fixed rate. Packages of 20 or more credits are transferable between individuals.
